Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun recognized by Condé Nast Traveler via Readers’ Choice Awards

The results of the 30th Annual Readers’ Choice Awards were announced this week by Condé Nast Traveler, with the Mohegan Sun being recognized as a top resort destination in New England. The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority-owned and operated facility in Connecticut was named one of the top 30 resorts located in New England with the award being a testament to the growing presence of the brand both domestically as well as abroad.

The Condé Nast Traveler is a top travel source for world travel, and considered a trusted and respected brand when it comes to advice on traveling. Having won the award, the Mohegan Sun demonstrates they are a major player in the hospitality and entertainment industry on a worldwide scale.

During the Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards, more than 300,000 readers submitted ratings. Millions of ratings were provided for the awards with tens of thousands of comments offered, as individuals focused on what resorts and hotels they enjoyed the most. 7,320 hotels and resorts were mentioned in 610 cities and 225 islands. Even cruise ships, airlines and airport 7BALL s were included.

The Readers’ Choice Awards by Condé Nast Traveler are considered the most prestigious in regards to recognition of excellence within the industry of travel. The longest running awards, they are commonly known as the best of the best when it comes to travel.
